1.Wash in cold or warm water.

How to solve tangle.
Wash the ponytail in hot (must be HOT!) water with just a dab of shampoo helps bring them right back to life.you can comb them out with a paddle brush and dry them overnight and they were just like new. If it become a little frizzy, you can add a pea size amount of oil and that helped take care of some of the frizz. Washing the extension also helped them to smell better and take away some of the shine so they were more natural looking.
